Terrors News · Varsity Baseball leaves it all on the field

Thursday night, the Palmer Terrors left it all on the field against Fountain Fort Carson.  Senior Matt New pitched the game of his life 6 and 2/3 innings allowing one earned run.  Justin Chappell came in to throw ten pitches, got the final out and got the Terrors out of a jam.  The Terrors got on the board in the 6th inning starting by senior Cale Fields walking and then Freshman Robert Chandler hitting a triple down the line.  This set up a perfectly executed squeeze bunt by Kevin Redwine, and tying the game two a piece.  The Terrors unfortunately could not keep the Trojans from scoring in the seventh but went down swinging.  Coach Mills told the team before the game to go out and have fun and leave it all on the field, and thats just what they did.
