The boys lacrosse team traveled to Smoky Hill High School and both JV and Varsity teams came away with wins. JV is now 1-1 and Varsity 2-0 on the season.

JV:
The JV team earned their first win of the season with a great team performance and held on to a 5-2 over the Buffaloes. The offense and defense played very well as a team and look forward to building on this effort against Pueblo West. Player of the Game: Isaac Browen with 3 goals.

Varsity:
Again the varsity team jumped out to an early lead with goals from Josh Allen and Rudolph Espinoza and beat Smoky Hill 13 to 6. The defense was strong the entire night, backed by a great performance in goalie, Austin Crawford. Donovan Shea and Finn Gilkes continued to dominate the middle of the field with multiple take-aways and forced turnovers. Other leading scorers: Josh Allen (1 goal, 2 assist) Jack Seibert (3 goals, 2 assists), Rudolph Espinoza (4 goals, 2 assist).

Next Game: Friday, 6:30pm vs Pueblo West at Garry Barry Stadium. Please come support the team as they look to go 3-0 on the season.
