Liberty Runs Away With Early Lead In Victory
Palmer Terrors Varsity watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 27-7 loss to Liberty on Saturday. Liberty scored on a walk by Conboy, a walk by Franco, a walk by Kline, a double by Dix, and a grand slam by Lively in the first inning.
Palmer Terrors Varsity collected six hits and Liberty had 18 in the high-scoring affair.
Liberty got things moving in the first inning, when Conboy drew a walk, scoring one run.
Palmer Terrors Varsity scored four runs in the fourth inning. Justin Chappell and Adam Urquidi each drove in runs during the inning.
Eisenreich got the start for Liberty. He lasted four innings, allowing six hits and seven runs while striking out eight.
