Rampart Runs Away With Early Lead In Victory
Palmer Terrors Varsity fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 17-8 loss to Rampart on Thursday. Rampart scored on a single by #5 in the first inning, a groundout by #16 in the first inning, a single by #20 in the first inning, a double by #13 in the first inning, and a single by #3 in the second inning.
Despite the loss, Palmer Terrors Varsity did collect 13 hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Rampart had 19 hits on the way to victory.
Rampart got things moving in the first inning, when #5 singled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run.
